- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (Frank’s Red Hots recommended)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
Dippers
- Fritos
- Baguette slices
- Carrot sticks

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking the dip evenly.
- Mix ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, buffalo sauce, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is creamy.
- Prepare the baking dish: Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly into a baking dish, smoothing the top for even cooking.
- Add cheese topping: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the mixture.
- Bake the dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese on top is melted and golden brown.
- Serve: Remove the dip from the oven and drizzle with blue cheese or ranch dressing if desired. Serve warm with Fritos, baguette slices, and carrot or celery sticks for dipping.
Notes
- You can substitute cooked rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to increase or decrease spiciness.
- For a smoother dip, use an electric mixer to blend ingredients.
- This dip can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
- Leftovers keep well refrigerated for up to 3 days and can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
