- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated

- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, shredded finely
- 1/2 red onion, sliced thinly
- 1/3 cup banana peppers, sliced
Instructions
- Prepare the dressing: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined to create the flavorful grinder salad dressing.
- Mix the salad: Add the shredded iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced red onion, and banana peppers to the bowl with the dressing. Toss thoroughly to coat all the salad ingredients evenly.
- Assemble sandwiches: Slice the sub rolls horizontally and divide the salami, pepperoni, turkey, and provolone cheese evenly among the rolls, layering the meats and cheese inside each roll.
- Broil sandwiches: Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and broil them in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the provolone cheese melts and the meats become slightly crisp and warm.
- Add fresh tomato slices: Remove sandwiches from the oven and layer fresh tomato slices on top of the warm meats and melted cheese for added freshness.
- Add grinder salad and parmesan: Generously spoon the prepared grinder salad over each sandwich and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese for an extra burst of flavor.
- Serve: Close the sandwiches carefully and enjoy immediately while warm and fresh for the best taste experience.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan cheese for the best flavor.
- Broil the sandwiches just until the cheese melts to avoid drying out the meats.
- Customize the type or amount of deli meats according to preference.
- For a spicier kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the grinder salad dressing.
- Serve with a side of chips or a light soup for a complete meal.
